The arrival of Sharadiya Navratri brings with it a special aura of energy and positivity. This period is not only about fasting, worship, and devotion but also about self-reflection and taking a pledge for the upliftment of society. The worship of the nine forms of Goddess Durga teaches us to face the challenges of life with courage and patience. It reminds us that only by walking on the path of truth and righteousness can we achieve lasting victory. Navratri conveys the message that if we adopt discipline, dedication, and sincerity in our lives, we can bring a new direction and progress to both personal and collective life.
Even the land of Mira-Bhayandar is blessed with this divine energy of the Mother. Every street and neighborhood here is filled with festive decorations and the beats of Garba, bringing society together. This festival reminds us that development is not limited to roads and buildings alone but is achieved when every section of society participates. The blessings of the Mother will truly be fulfilled only when every poor family in our city feels secure, every child gets an education, and youth receive ample employment opportunities. On this occasion, my prayer is that the Goddess always keeps Mira-Bhayandar safe, prosperous, and happy.
At the national level too, Navratri inspires us with a message of unity and development. If the leadership that sets the right direction for the nation receives the blessings of the Mother, the upliftment of the country is certain. When policies are framed with transparency and in the interest of the people, their impact can be seen in the lives of every citizen. That is the true essence of nation-building and the real form of worshiping Goddess Durga.
Recently, the major reforms in the GST system have made this festival even more meaningful. Under GST 2.0, the tax framework has been simplified and made more convenient. The structure of tax rates has been revised in such a way that the daily needs of common families have become a little more affordable. For small and medium businesses too, compliance has become easier. This reform has had a direct impact on the festive season as reduced taxes on sweets, clothes, and small business-related goods have brought cheer to the markets. Increased shopping boosts trade, which in turn generates more employment opportunities at the local level.
From a technological perspective, these reforms have made the system more transparent and faster. Truly, this step strengthens the vision of “One Nation, One Tax” and is proving effective in reducing issues like tax evasion.
The message of Navratri is clear: when we adopt goodness, simplicity, and cooperation, development is possible in every field. Reforms like GST, combined with the blessings of the Mother, are opening the doors to a new era for both our nation and our Mira-Bhayandar. This is not just a time to celebrate, but also a moment to resolve that together, we will make our city and country better and more prosperous.
On this auspicious occasion, I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone. May Goddess Durga’s blessings always remain upon you all.
Jai Mata Durga!
